How do I purchase one of your handmade pieces?

I generally release a new batch of work about every month or so. I try to regularly post sneak peeks of what I am currently working on over on my Instagram page leading up to any new release. I post the date and time new work will be available well in advance for a heads up but I will from time it time pop in surprises. Can I reserve or claim a piece from your Instagram in advance of a release or can you do a custom order?

I do not offer reserves or presales in order to be fair to everyone that may be interested in the same piece. While I have done it in the past I got myself into trouble with others that had their eye on the same item. I also do not offer custom work on a regular basis but from time to time may post an opening of custom slots in my stories on Instagram. My suggestion is to turn on post notifications for my page there so you don’t miss any of my new upcoming work or potential custom slots because they are a rarity these days.

Is everything really sold out? I had a piece in my cart and it vanished!

Unfortunately items in carts are not reserved so if someone has an eye on the same piece and they checked out faster it will be marked as sold out. I know I have some pieces that tend to go quickly but I will always make more! 

 

Where do you ship and how long will it take for my purchase to arrive?

At this moment I am only shipping within the US and Canada. Sadly I have had some bad luck with international shipments so for now I have limited my shipping overseas. I always ship via USPS priority and if shipping to Canada I ship the same and have built in added insurance to the shipping price. If you would like to insure your domestic shipment I do have a stand alone listing that you may purchase separately. I am a one woman show so I do all the making packaging etc. I usually ship within 3-5 business days but many times items will fly out quicker than that. You will receive an email with tracking once your item ships. 

 

How do I know my ring size? Can you resize any of the rings available in your shop?

I do not offer resizing so please make sure you know what size you are before purchasing. I always suggest visiting a jeweler to determine your correct size. From time to time I make wide band rings. Please note that I factor in the width of the band to fit so no need to size up on your end. Whatever size is listed is the size they will fit, always. T

I do not offer resizing for rings. The reason for this is that in order to resize a ring I must remove the stone from the setting in order to remove the band from the backplate for resizing. This is very time consuming and entails a risk of damage to the bezel and possibly the stone so for me it is just too risky. 

How do I care for my jewelry?

Treat your jewelry with love and care and it will last you a lifetime. I make most of my work with various gemstones that are delicate so please make sure to take off your jewelry before swimming, bathing, any rigorous activities and yes even before washing hands or applying lotions and perfumes as that can damage stones and patina. I suggest storing your jewelry in an air tight pouch or somewhere nice and dry as oxygen and moisture can cause unwated tarnish. Should you need to polish up your piece I suggest purchasing a sunshine polishing cloth and gently rubbing so as not to remove the blackened patina in the areas it is intended to be. You can find these on Amazon, Etsy and even Ebay and they are great to have and last forever.

What is your return policy?

I strive to make beautiful handmade pieces that will last a lifetime. Should you for some reason be unhappy with your purchase please feel free to reach out so that I can make it right. I ask that you contact me within 3 days of receiving your shipment and that it be shipped back to me within one week of delivery unworn and in the original condition and packaging. The customer will be responsible for any return shipping cost incurred and please note that any refund will be less the cost of the original shipping charge.
